Jan Ahlbeck

Jan Ahlbeck is a Senior Data and Software Engineer at Trackunit, with extensive experience in data engineering, analytics, and software development. Currently engaged in collecting and preparing data utilizing technologies such as Databricks Lakehouse in AWS, Spark, and Python, Jan also specializes in streaming analytics and ETL/ELT pipeline development with tools like Airflow. Prior to Trackunit, Jan worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at TARGIT, where support was provided for creating and maintaining BI solutions. A background as a freelance software developer was established at MVC-Data ApS, along with roles at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence and ETI, focusing on database development and management. Earlier career experience includes software development positions at FKI Logistex A/S, Dator A/S, and Siemens A/S, contributing to various sorting and handling systems as well as public utility SCADA systems.
