Torben Nielsen

Torben Nielsen is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in product development and analytics within the technology sector. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Trackunit since December 2020, Torben oversees the development and enhancement of telematics solutions, while managing multiple product development teams and driving customer adoption strategies. Prior to this role, Torben held the position of Head of Analytics at Trackunit, building a data analytics organization. Previous roles include Project Manager at Danfoss, where Torben led development of a monitoring system for district energy, and at Vitec Aloc managing an investment portfolio management system. Torben's career also includes significant tenures at Schneider Electric, commencing as a Software Developer and rising to Program Manager, where contributions included IoT SaaS solutions and integration frameworks. Torben began as a Research Assistant at Syddansk Universitet, imparting knowledge in computer science. Torben holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Syddansk Universitet.
