Wing Cheng

Wing Cheng is a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in building and transforming data platforms across multiple organizations. Currently at Tractable since May 2022, Wing leads initiatives for the BI team and has significantly contributed to migrating to a modern data stack architecture. Previously at Envel, played an integral role as an early team member, designing a cost-effective data platform for business intelligence and machine learning pipelines. Experience at ThoughtWorks involved designing data pipelines for machine learning models, while at JUMO.WORLD, responsibilities included maintaining and enhancing the data platform, researching new technologies, and providing operational support. Wing's technical expertise encompasses Python, AWS, and various frameworks, supported by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
