Tractive AB is a family-owned company based in Borlänge, Sweden with 60 employees. We design and manufacture two different product lines, Concrete Cutting Equipment under the brand name Pentruder, and Motorsport Transmissions under the brand name Tractive Motorsport Transmissions. 
The Pentruder line of products accounts for approximately 90% of the turnover and the Motorsport transmissions for approximately 10%. 
We see ourselves as a transmission company and both product lines transfer high power with low weight components. The products are made with very precise design and machining techniques and they both share a similar manufacturing process. Not to mention that they both represent winning concepts in their own niche!

At Tractive we have a clear mission and purpose, a “why” we do what we do. 
Our mission provides guidance and is far from only empty words. As a family-owned company, we can follow our values and always focus on what is best for both people and the planet. 
Our mission statement reflects the fact that we find a deep purpose in bringing excellent products to our customers that improve their everyday lives. We’ve done this since the early 90’s and have succeeded in growing the business with what we call “happy profitability”. It is the opposite to short-term profits or cheap solutions with a calculated lifetime, and we are convinced that this is a winning concept for all stakeholders.
