Andres Forero

Andres Forero has a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on backend development. Andres is currently employed as a Senior Backend Engineer at AutoTrader.ca since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at AutoTrader.ca from March 2022 to October 2022.

Before joining AutoTrader.ca, Andres worked at Endava as a Senior Dotnet Developer from March 2018 to March 2022. In this role, they worked on projects with North American clients, mainly related to processing payments with Credit Cards and Checks. Andres was responsible for designing and implementing multiple WebApi projects, integrating AWS services into existing projects, and developing high availability systems with high concurrency levels. Andres had experience with various .NET Framework and SQL Server tools and was involved in the generation, presentation, and electronic distribution of statements, as well as web services design and database modeling and maintenance.

Andres Forero completed their education with a degree in Ingeniero de sistemas (Computer Science) from Politénico Grancolombiano in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Tecnólogo en administración de sistemas (Computer Science) from the same institution in 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Andres Forero obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate: Software Development Fundamentals (MTA) from Microsoft in December 2018. Andres also earned a certification in Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications from Microsoft in March 2017.
