Eric Chan

Eric Chan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Eric started their career at Deloitte as a Senior Associate, where they worked from January 2007 to September 2012.

In 2012, Eric joined Quickplay as a Senior Financial Analyst and later became a Senior Manager in Strategy & Corporate Development from October 2013 to October 2014. During their time at Quickplay, they played a significant role in the sale of the company to AT&T in 2016 and was involved in debt and equity financing efforts. Eric also oversaw financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, customer pricing, tracking performance metrics, and strategic acquisitions.

After the acquisition, Eric joined AT&T as the Head of Finance for the Quickplay Division, where they worked from July 2016 to December 2016.

In 2016, Eric moved to Real Matters Inc. as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Eric worked in this role from December 2016 to January 2018.

Since 2018, Eric has been working at AutoTrader.ca, initially as the Vice President of FP&A & Corporate Development, where they led a team responsible for forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, business analysis, and tracking operational metrics. Eric also led the corporate development team, which oversaw business cases, negotiated agreements, and performed due diligence for M&A activities. Eric became the Vice President of Sales Operations in July 2020 and is currently the Executive Vice President of Finance & Operations since January 2022. In this role, they have been the primary point of contact with the Board of Directors and private equity owners.

Eric Chan has a Master of Accounting (MAcc) from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management (BAFM) from the same university. Eric also holds the certification of Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
