Jodi Lai has a strong background in automotive journalism, with extensive experience in various editorial roles.

Jodi started their career in 2006 as an online producer, copy editor, and freelance reporter for National Post and Financial Post. In this role, they reported breaking news, wrote stories on strict deadlines, conducted interviews, and optimized web hit counts using SEO techniques.

In 2013, they became the Senior Producer at Driving.ca, where they were responsible for managing and curating content to ensure it aligned with product, brand, and user needs.

From 2015 to 2019, Jodi served as the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor at AutoGuide.com. In addition to overseeing a team of writers and freelancers, they hosted videos, covered auto shows, and wrote reviews and features. Most recently, Jodi joined AutoTrader.ca in 2019 as the Editor In Chief. Jodi supports the marketing and SEO team by overseeing content creation, with a focus on consumer-oriented and accessible automotive content across multiple platforms. Jodi also launched and co-hosts a bi-weekly podcast.
