Melanie started their career at Mercedes-Benz Canada as a Service Advisor Coordinator in 2001, where they excelled in providing exceptional customer service and managing financial transactions. Melanie then moved on to Discount Car and Truck Rental in 2002, taking on the role of Manager at the Yonge and Bloor Store. In this position, they efficiently handled daily operational tasks related to vehicle rentals and cash handling. In 2005, Melanie joined AutoTrader.ca as a Dealer Services Representative, where they built strong relationships with clients and demonstrated the value of digital media through data analysis. Melanie later transitioned into various managerial positions within AutoTrader.ca, including Technology Operations Manager, Sr. Manager of Website Development and Technology Operations, and currently, Sr. Manager of IT Service Management. Their extensive experience in IT and operations management within the automotive industry showcases their adaptability and dedication to providing high-quality service.

Melanie B. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University, from 1997 to 2001. Later, in 2012 to 2013, they pursued an Honors - Atocrates Masters Certificate in Business Analysis at Durham College. In 2018, Melanie attended a course on Business Analysis at global knowledge. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert in May 2023. In December 2020, they received the 3x3 Executive Leadership certification from Viewpoint Leadership Inc. Additionally, in September 2018, Melanie obtained the Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CBAP) from Global Knowledge Technologies. Melanie also holds the Smart Server Ontario certification from Smart Serve Ontario, which was obtained in January 2001.
