Nitin Alabur

Nitin Alabur has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Nitin is currently working as an Engineering Manager, Mobile at AutoTrader.ca. Prior to this, they founded QontactR in 2017 and served as its Founder until 2020. During this time, they were responsible for managing the company's operations and strategic direction.

Nitin also worked as a Lead Mobile Engineer at SpoofCard from January 2019 to May 2020. At Optoro, they held the position of Senior Mobile Engineer from September 2015 to March 2017. Here, they built prototype apps for Bulq and successfully launched them on the App Store within a tight schedule. Nitin also played a crucial role in transitioning the codebase from Swift 2.x to Swift 3.0. Additionally, they designed and documented RESTful APIs using Apiary.

Before that, Nitin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Curb (formerly Taxi Magic) / RideCharge from August 2011 to September 2015. Here, they led the development of version 3.0 of the Taxi Magic app for iOS, introducing a new user experience and architecture.

Earlier in their career, Nitin worked as a Mobile Software Engineer - iOS at PointAbout, Inc from May 2009 to July 2011. Nitin played a significant role in developing apps for various high-profile clients including Politico and Cars. Com.

Nitin began their career as a Trainee Programmer/Analyst at IT-Ideology in November 2008 and later served as an FPGA Design intern at Syneren Technologies Corporation from September 2007 to December 2007.

Nitin holds a position as an Embedded Software Engineer at Synectic Telecom Pvt Ltd.

Nitin Alabur pursued their education in a chronological order. From 2001 to 2005, they attended the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication. Following this, they enrolled at George Mason University from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering specializing in Cryptography, Network Security, and FPGA Design.
