Justin Rerko

Justin Rerko has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Justin is currently employed at Tradespace as the VP of Strategy & Business Development. Prior to this, Justin worked as a Consultant and as the IP Transformation Leader at KPMG US, where they significantly contributed to the development and implementation of intellectual property strategies. Justin also served as the Assistant General Counsel - IP & Technology at KPMG US, counseling internal clients on intellectual property matters and securing intellectual property rights. Before joining KPMG, Justin worked as the Director of Strategy & Government Affairs at MBDA. Justin has also held various roles at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Acme Security, Justin S. Rerko & Associates, Pearne & Gordon LLP, Athersys, and Cleveland Clinic, where they gained expertise in areas such as strategic development, law, and orthopedic surgery.

Justin Rerko obtained a JD degree in Law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2003. Justin also completed an Executive Certificate in Strategy from The Wharton School in 2011. In addition, they earned an MS (ABT) degree in Biotechnology Entrepreneurship from Case Western Reserve University in 2003 and a BA degree in Asian Studies and Molecular Biology from Case Western Reserve University in 1999. Furthermore, they pursued Legislative Studies at Georgetown University in 2013. Justin Rerko has additional certifications in UX Research: Lean Experimentation from LinkedIn in 2022 and Foundations in Design Thinking from IDEO U in 2018. Justin is also licensed as an Attorney by the Ohio State Bar and as a Patent Attorney by the US Patent & Trademark Office.
