Erick Cheng

Erick Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Erick began their career at Alienware in 2004 as a Training Developer and later assumed the positions of Technical Support Agent for both corporate and special systems, as well as a Level 2 Support Agent. In 2008, Erick joined Experian Marketing Services as a Data Analyst III, where they developed and implemented programs for business solutions and collaborated with Experian resources to resolve customer inquiries. Following this, Erick worked as a Quality Assurance Tech Level 2 at avVenta Worldwide, where they focused on quality assurance. In 2010, they joined Aplicor as a Quality Engineer specialized in ERP and CRM systems. There, they were responsible for testing cycles, defect validation, and assisting with the implementation of QTP automation. From 2011 to 2013, Erick worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Fiserv, where they implemented test environments and executed test cases for Online Banking applications. Currently, Erick is employed at TradeStation as a Software Test Engineer, specializing in testing software components and documenting defects.

Erick Cheng holds a master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business Management from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Systems Informatics Engineering from the same institution from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Erick has obtained several certifications including Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist and Certified SAFe® 6 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2023, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2023, Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate - SFPC from CertiProf in 2023, and Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022, among others.
