Laura R.

Laura R. has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Laura is currently working at TradeStation as a Principal Software Engineer since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at FunStuff Bolas Choconas as a Co-Owner starting from 2016. Laura also worked at Informatech Costa Rica as a Senior Software Engineer in 2019, where they developed REST APIs for Vivint Smart Home. Before that, they worked at FVR Tech as a Senior Software Engineer from 2013 to 2019. Laura has experience in web development, having worked at Common Areas from 2014 to 2018 and at avVenta Worldwide from 2010 to 2013. Laura also has experience in project management during their time at Sysde from 2007 to 2010, where they worked as an Analyst/Programmer on web solutions for Roche, and at Excelsus as a Developer from 2006 to 2007.

Laura R. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional from 2003 to 2007. In 2023, they enrolled in ULACIT to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they have acquired multiple certifications. In March 2023, Laura attained certifications as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist, Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. In April 2020, they completed the certification for Advanced Threading in C# and in March 2020, they finished the certification for Threading in C#.
