Peter Cherry

Peter Cherry has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Peter currently works at TradeStation as a Compliance Manager since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Compliance Analyst at TradeStation from March 2022 to July 2023.

Before TradeStation, Peter worked at Raymond James as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate from June 2018 to March 2022. Peter also worked at Wells Fargo Advisors as an Associate Financial Advisor from July 2017 to June 2018.

Peter's earlier experience includes working at Thomson Reuters as a Client Relations specialist from July 2016 to January 2017. Peter spent a significant portion of their career at Goldman Sachs, where they held multiple roles. Peter started as a Financial Analyst in June 2004 and held the role till May 2008. Peter then worked as an Associate from May 2008 to December 2011, collaborating on the development of equities and options platforms. Finally, they served as a VP from January 2012 to October 2015, managing electronic trading platforms, identifying erroneous executions, enhancing smart routing and algorithmic trading, and coordinating exchange connectivity among other responsibilities.

Overall, Peter has gained extensive experience in compliance, client service, financial advising, client relations, and electronic trading platforms across various companies in their career.

Peter Cherry attended DePaul University from 1998 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Liberal Arts with a field of study in Finance. In addition to their formal education, Peter obtained certifications including the Chainalysis KYT Certification (CKC) and the Chainalysis Reactor Certification (CRC) from Chainalysis Inc. in August 2022. Peter also completed the Introduction to Philosophy course offered by Coursera in September 2013.
