Peter Phung

Peter Phung currently serves as the Director of Asia Compliance at Tradeweb, overseeing APAC Compliance since March 2024. Previously, Peter held the position of Regulatory Compliance Manager at Yieldbroker from November 2020 to March 2024, where responsibilities included managing the Compliance function and developing compliance policies. From October 2013 to September 2020, Peter was the Executive Manager of WIB Compliance at Westpac Institutional Bank, leading compliance advisory for OTC derivatives and chairing the G20 OTC Regulatory Change Forum. Early career roles included Senior Associate at BT, Business Risk & Compliance Manager at Suncorp Group, Technical Compliance Manager at MLC, and Compliance Manager at AUSMAQ. Peter holds a Certificate IV in Compliance & Risk Management from the GRC Institute, a Diploma of Financial Services from Kaplan Professional, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice along with a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce from Western Sydney University.
