Ankur S. is a highly experienced compliance professional with a robust background in anti-money laundering (AML) and regulatory compliance across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Regional Compliance Director - MESA at Tradewind since April 2020, Ankur holds the roles of DFSA Registered Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), Compliance Officer (CO), and Data Protection Officer (DPO). Prior experience includes leadership positions at Credit Europe Bank N.V. as Division Director Compliance, and at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as Assistant Manager and Deputy MLRO for its Dubai and Qatar branches. Ankur began a career in compliance and accounting at ICICI Bank and Precision Drilling, showing a progressive trajectory through roles focused on compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory adherence. Ankur holds an M.Com in Finance & Auditing, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
