Douglas Taft

Douglas Taft is a seasoned Database Systems Engineer with extensive experience in database management and information technology. Currently employed at TradeZero since March 2021, Douglas previously held key roles at BlueMountain Capital Management, including Head of Database Systems and Head of Information Technology, where notable accomplishments included managing 40 database servers and leading a successful migration to a self-managed IT environment. Prior positions include Production Database Engineer at Lava Trading Inc., Database Solution Developer at Avanade, DBA at United Artists Theatre Circuit, and DBA at Master Lease Inc. Douglas holds a BA in Chinese Language & Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder, with additional studies at Capital Normal University and Rochester Institute of Technology.
