Luis L.

Luis L. has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Research Analyst at Trading Central since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at RBC as a Client Advisor from August 2020 to April 2021, where they demonstrated strong customer service skills by efficiently responding to customer inquiries and maintaining accounts. Luis also played an active role in RBC's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Before RBC, Luis served as a Research Associate Intern at IG Wealth Management from September 2019 to December 2019, where they excelled in managing reports, presenting data to clients, and contributing to marketing strategies. Additionally, Luis gained experience as a Data and Research Intern at the United Nations Association in Canada from June 2019 to December 2019.

Luis L. completed their Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, starting in 2016 and graduating in 2020. In 2018, they participated in an International Exchange Program at the Facultad de Economía y Negocios - Universidad de Chile, focusing on International Business.

In addition to their formal education, Luis has obtained several certifications. Luis passed the Level I Exam offered by the CFA Institute in April 2021. Luis also received the Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera in October 2022 and completed the SQL Bootcamp from Udemy in December 2022. Luis further acquired the Financial Statement Modeling certification from Wall Street Prep in May 2023.

Furthermore, Luis attended the McGill Personal Finance Essentials program at McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management in December 2019. Luis also earned the BMC Certificate from Bloomberg LP in September 2019.
