Drawing inspiration from the great beer halls of central Europe, The Trading Route is a lagerhouse fit for the historic area in which it sits: where the nearby River Irwell and railways connected the city’s industry to the wider world, helping it become an economic and cultural engine of the North.

Perfect for a post-work pint or for longer session drinking, we’re open til late 7 days a week, serving cold, fresh, foamy beer straight from Manchester Union’s nearby brewery.

Our menu, crafted by the acclaimed team at Trof, has been made to share and – most importantly – to taste great with a beer, with our rotisserie oven at the centre of almost everything we serve.

We have a pantry stocked with expertly-sourced provisions that are difficult to find anywhere else, including fine wines, artisanal cheeses, and all sorts of sundries. Perfect for picking up post-pint, or certainly worth popping in for.
