Andreas Pfrunder

Andreas Pfrunder serves as the Key Account & Business Development Director and a Board Member at Trafag Group since August 2019. Previously, Andreas co-founded Sevensense, holding multiple roles including Integration Manager, CFO, COO, and Hardware Team Lead until February 2025. A background in robotics engineering was established as a Robotics Engineer at ETH Zurich's Autonomous Systems Lab from October 2016 to August 2018. Early career experiences include an internship at CSIRO and a position at Trafag AG as a Process Technology Engineer. Academic credentials comprise an MBA from INSEAD, a Master’s Degree in Robotics from ETH Zurich, an exchange semester at the University of Toronto in Mechatronics, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich, complemented by high school education at Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade.
