John Rakic

John Rakic, also known as Hound, is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the fire protection and construction industries. As the Owner and Managing Director of Trafalgar Group of Companies since January 2004, John oversees a diverse portfolio that includes passive fire protection systems, safe handling and storage solutions, and local Australian manufacturing. In addition to Trafalgar, John holds ownership and leadership roles in several other ventures, including Ryanfire Products, Eco Surfaces Australia, and JNI Pallet Systems. John is also an inventor of innovative fire safety products such as the BladeRUNNER fire collars and FIREBOX firestopping devices, contributing to advancements in passive fire protection. John's academic background includes an MBA in Technology Management, a Master's in Fire Safety Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering with honors, underscoring a strong foundation in engineering and management.
