Weston Shelander is an experienced professional with a background in sales, research, and health-related initiatives. Currently serving as an Inside Sales Account Manager at Trafera since February 2024, Weston also founded Vairion, an air purification startup for the dental industry, in August 2020 to address health concerns associated with Covid-19. Additionally, Weston holds a board member position at The Curing Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation, which sponsors research on Alzheimer’s Disease at the University of Minnesota. Previous experience includes research roles at the Niedernhofer Laboratory, exploring the biology of aging, as well as volunteer positions at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and the Gagliardi Research Group. Weston earned a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Organismal Physiology from the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences and a certificate in Value Proposition and Design from the UMN Carlson School of Management.
