Scientific entrepreneurism project (expected establishment of NewCo by Q4 2023) focused on the development of a new technology platform for the delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics.

As a technology transference and valorization academic project from the Montenegro research group (Universidade de Santiago De Compostela / CIQUS), we have discovered a new peptide-based approach that enables efficient, non-toxic and targeted delivery of a wide variety of nucleic acids (mRNA, siRNA, pDNA) and proteins (Cas9). Robust in vitro and in vivo data suggest the potential for translation of this novel delivery technology into preclinical developments, which are currently being sought.
