Emil Asp

Emil Asp is currently serving as the Deputy Director General for Information and Future Connections at Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom. Previously, Emil held various roles at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, including Director of the Markets unit and Senior Ministerial Adviser, where responsibilities encompassed communications regulation, media policy, and mobility services. Emil also worked as a National Expert in Professional Training at the European Commission and has experience as a journalist with Iltalehti and Suomen Lehtiyhtymä. They obtained a Master of Social Sciences in Political Science from the University of Helsinki.
