Tilly James is currently the Head of Customer Operations at Trail. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Intelligence Intern at Partyou from July 2018 to August 2018. Partyou is a fintech start-up based in Sao Paulo, focused on providing a financial platform to university students in the state area. Tilly was tasked with building a BI strategy in order to optimise decision making, operational efficiency and the user experience.
From March 2016 to September 2017, Tilly worked as an Operations Agent at Helpling. Helpling is an online cleaning marketplace, which matches self-employed cleaners with customers local to them. Tilly's role was to optimise efficiency of operations across several teams to find creative ways to improve performance.
From September 2014 to March 2016, Tilly campaigned for Olympics as part of the British Sailing Team in a 49er FX. Tilly won National titles in the 49er FX (2016) and in Toppers (2012), also becoming Topper Junior Female World Champion.
Tilly James has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol. Tilly also has a certification from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in RYA Level 2 Race Coach Qualification, certification from ABRSM in Grade 8 Alto Saxophone, and certification from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in RYA Powerboat Level 2.
