James Nicholas

James Nicholas has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. James currently holds the position of COO at Trailmix Games since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at The Story Shop starting from August 2011. From January 2018 to March 2023, they worked as the GM Product at Scopely. In addition, James has held various executive roles such as Executive Producer at Z2 from September 2016 to December 2017 and Executive Producer, Farm Heroes Franchise at King from September 2013 to December 2017. James also has experience as a Producer at Games Lab from January 2009 to September 2013. Before that, they worked as the COO at Dynamite Games, overseeing operations for both Games Lab and Dynamite Games from January 2007 to September 2013. James also has experience as a Producer at Beat Productions and as an Assistant Director in the film industry.

James Nicholas attended Toowoomba Grammar School from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Senior Certificate in High School. In 1998, they enrolled in the Queensland School of Film and TV and completed a Certificate in Film and Television Studies. In addition to their formal education, James Nicholas obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in May 2014.
