Matt Welsh is an experienced engineering educator and practitioner with a strong background in fabrication and welding. Currently serving as an Engineering Tutor for Train'd Up and a Moderator for City & Guilds in the Fabrication & Welding T Level qualification, Matt has previously held roles as a Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding at Stoke on Trent College and as an Engineering Tutor/Assessor at Train'd Up. Matt's expertise extends to practical and theoretical instruction, resource preparation, and progress tracking, along with experience as a Subject Matter Expert for engineering reforms at City & Guilds. Prior experience includes roles in pipefitting, metal fabrication, and sheet metal work across various organizations. Matt holds multiple qualifications, including a Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
