Annie Venable

Annie Venable has a long history of software engineering experience. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer at Itron, Inc. In 2018, they moved to TrainHeroic and served as a Senior Software Engineer, where they architected and built a backend system to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions, created aggregate tables from millions of records and facilitated a team book club. In 2022, they joined TrainingPeaks as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led an effort to merge two native apps into one repo and introduce React Native, planned, communicated and executed against a timeline, created a new CI/CD system, established new patterns and best practices for integrating React Native, and held retrospectives across teams.

Annie Venable received their High School Diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 2012. Annie then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
