Van Vu

Instructor and Product Manager at Training The Street

Van Vu began their career in 2005 as an Investment Banking Analyst at Merrill Lynch. In 2007, they joined Training the Street as an Instructor and Product Manager. In this role, Van has lead over 700 days of live instruction at the top investment banks, business schools, and Fortune 500 companies throughout the Americas, Asia, Middle East, Latin America, and Europe. Additionally, they teach corporate valuation, accounting, applied excel, financial modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, merger modeling, leveraged buyout modeling, bank analysis, and other advanced topics. Van also spearheads the implementation of many of the new technologies that Training the Street uses in concert with cutting edge pedagogy in order to push the envelope of student engagement and learning in the classroom.

Van Vu attended Claremont McKenna College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with an Economics Dual.
