International Product Director at Trainline

Alan Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Alan began their career as a Trainee at Methods Consulting in 2009. Alan then joined Tesco PLC in 2010, where they held positions such as Graduate Business Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst in the Product Data team, Technology Programme Manager for the Source Product, and Customer Product Technology Manager for Customer Rewards. In these roles, Alan was involved in various projects related to system development, infrastructure provisioning, and managing teams. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Lead Product Manager for Customer Accounts at Tesco PLC, where they led a team of product managers and implemented enhancements to improve customer acquisition and account management. Alan joined Trainline in 2017 and held several positions, including Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and most recently, International Product Director. During their tenure at Trainline, they worked on initiatives related to app product development, customer service strategies, and the identification of disruptions and notifications for customers. Alan Wilson attended Dr Challoner's Grammar School from 2000 to 2007. Alan obtained their BA degree in Economics, Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Alan Wilson received certifications as a Professional Product Owner (PSPO1) and a Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) from Scrum.org in March 2014 and September 2015, respectively.
