Angus Cameron has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Angus started their career at Castle Leisure Group, where they held roles such as Venue Manager and Bar Supervisor. Angus then transitioned to Trainline, where they worked in various positions including Customer Service Representative, Customer Relations Adviser, Customer Insight Analyst, Customer Experience & Insight Analyst, and UK Supply Manager. Currently, Angus serves as the Head of UK Industry Relations at Trainline, where they oversee relationships with industry bodies to facilitate market access and drive commercial growth.

Angus Cameron attended Kinross High School from 2001 to 2007, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Following high school, they enrolled at the University of Stirling from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a BA Honours degree in Business and Sports Studies. In addition to their formal education, Angus has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2014, they became certified in Corporate Social Media through HootSuite Media Inc. In 2016, they received certification as a Product Manager from Product Focus. Most recently, in 2023, they completed the Leadership in a Technology Driven World Virtual Programme offered by Imperial College Executive Education.
