Drew McMillan

Drew McMillan is a Staff Engineer at Trainline since June 2021, specializing in web technologies such as Node, Typescript, GraphQL, React, and Relay. In this role, Drew focuses on creating a new GraphQL gateway to enhance website performance and user experience. Previously, Drew held roles as a Software Engineer at garaji and a Web Engineer at Trainline, where work involved rebuilding tech stacks and optimizing user experiences for high-traffic applications. Additional experience includes a volunteer position at Good Thinking Society and significant contributions to the BBC News website, working on the Simorgh application and various frontend components while completing a Computer Science degree from Aberystwyth University.
