Matthew Trout

Matthew Trout is a seasoned web engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Web Engineer at Trainline since May 2022, Matthew has also operated as a self-employed Software Engineer from May 2019. Previous roles include Senior Javascript Engineer at Crunch from January 2020 to April 2022, and Software Engineer at First Option Software from September 2013 to May 2019. Matthew began a career in technology as a Web Designer & Developer at Elderberry Development from February 2012 to March 2013. Early professional experience also includes a position as a Lifeguard at Tone Leisure from October 2008 to August 2013. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Reading, earned between 2010 and 2013, after completing studies at Richard Huish College from 2008 to 2010.
