Mike Hyde

Mike Hyde has an extensive work experience in data and business insights. Mike is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Trainline since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Director Data Science at Facebook from January 2017 to October 2021. Mike also worked as the Director of Business Insights at Skype, which was later acquired by Microsoft, from March 2013 to December 2016. Before that, they worked as a Director at AlixPartners from July 2010 to February 2013. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Engagement Manager at Opera Solutions from September 2005 to July 2010 and as a Senior Consultant at ETC (European Technology Consultants) from March 2003 to September 2005.

Mike Hyde obtained their M.A. degree in Engineering, Physics, and Computing from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Mike further pursued their education at the same institution and received an M. Eng. degree in Engineering and Information Sciences from 1996 to 1997.
