Tim Reed

Tim Reed is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in frontend development and engineering management. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Trainline since December 2019, Tim has advanced through various roles including Engineering Team Lead and Senior Engineer while contributing to the development of a new booking flow system utilizing modern technologies such as Typescript, React, and Node. Prior to Trainline, Tim held the position of Lead UI Engineer at Hero Team, focusing on single-page applications in ReactJS and VueJs. Tim's early career highlights include roles such as Senior Front End Developer at Hugo & Cat, Front End Lead Developer at Zone, and User Experience/UI Designer at Rummble. Tim began professional training in design at Loughborough University, earning a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design and Technology, following A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Photography, and Design & Technology at King Edward's School.
