Gil Barnes

Gil Barnes has a strong background in the transportation industry, specifically in engineering and yard operations. Gil started their career at Norfolk Southern in 1985, where they served as an Electronics Specialist and Signal Supervisor until 1990. From 1991 to 1996, they worked as an Assistant Superintendent in Yards at the same company. In 1996, they joined CSX Transportation as the Director of Hump Yard Engineering and held this position until 2022. Currently, Gil Barnes is the Director of Engineering at Trainyard Tech, LLC.
