Jim Hill has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jim started their career in the US Navy as a Disabled Combat Veteran from 1988 to 1992. Following their military service, they worked as an Assistant District Sales Manager at MCI from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, they joined LCT Tele-Com as an Executive Vice President until 2006. From 2006 to 2011, Jim was the owner of a Dairy Queen Grill & Chill franchise. In 2009, they joined Baker Broom Investment Group, LLC as the Director of Business Development, where they successfully turned around the failing organization and achieved record revenue growth. In 2014, Jim founded Blackfin Capital and became the Chief Executive Officer of Trajector.

Jim Hill received their MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a BSBA in Finance & Economics from the University of Florida, graduating in 1994.
