Traktion is a start-up developing a digital co-pilot for freight train drivers. By analysing the line profile, timetables and GPS position, our eco-driving assistance application promotes smoother, more fuel-efficient and better controlled driving. Designed from the outset with end users in mind, Traktion aims to reduce energy consumption by up to 15%, while improving driving comfort and extending the life of locomotives by limiting braking. Our approach is open, modular and collaborative. Traktion is part of an open source ecosystem that promotes collective innovation for more efficient and sustainable rail freight.
