Trama Textiles is a Guatemalan NGO non-profit cooperative dedicated to empowering indigenous women through the art of traditional backstrap weaving. Founded in 1988 and based in Quetzaltenango, Trama works with over 150 artisans from 17 weaving groups across five regions in the western highlands of Guatemala.

Our mission is to provide fair wages and sustainable opportunities for women to preserve their cultural heritage, support their families, and achieve financial independence. Each handmade product tells a story of resilience, tradition, and creativity, showcasing vibrant designs inspired by Mayan culture.
