Bill Kangas is an experienced designer specializing in HVAC and automotive systems. Currently serving as Designer IV at Trane Technologies since September 2022, Bill focuses on modular custom design for large commercial HVAC systems using Creo 4. Prior to this role, Bill worked as a Product Designer at Holley, where contributions included leading the design of the Stealth Sniper EFI 4150 project and utilizing advanced tools such as Creo 6, 3-D scanning technology, and Formlabs 3-D printing. Bill’s extensive experience also encompasses a long tenure at Whirlpool Corporation as a Senior Product Designer and earlier roles in automotive design, including positions at Acro Service Corp and Hi-Stat Manufacturing Co. Bill holds an Associate's degree in Drafting and Design from Washtenaw Community College.
