Caroline Colwell is an Industrial and Systems Engineering student at North Carolina State University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as an Advanced Manufacturing Technology Engineering Co-op at Trane Technologies, Caroline focuses on testing and validating programmable control systems for autonomous robots and conducting research on communication protocols for SCADA and PLC integration. Previous experience includes an Engineering Village Lab Assistant role at NC State, where support was provided to first-year engineering students, and a Supply Chain & Manufacturing Co-op at UPL, contributing analytical skills to cross-functional projects. Caroline also worked as a Childcare Provider with UrbanSitter and served as an Engagement Ambassador for Ruffalo Noel Levitz, building relationships with alumni and updating demographic information. International experience includes time at the NC State European Center in Prague from May 2022 to June 2023.
