James E. Powell is an accomplished Information Security and Risk leader currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Trane Technologies, where they oversee global cybersecurity and digital risk. With a rich history spanning multiple industries and significant enterprise experience, they have held leadership roles at prominent organizations such as LPL Financial, Ingersoll Rand, and TIAA. Powell's expertise encompasses Security Operations, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and Risk Management. They are also an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, having completed the CISO Executive Education Program.
