James Wiltzius

James Wiltzius is currently the Assistant General Counsel specializing in Intellectual Property at Trane Technologies, where they manage the Global Intellectual Property department and provide counsel on acquisition strategies, litigation, and licensing for the Trane business units. They have extensive experience in all phases of patent portfolio management, having previously served as Senior Corporate Counsel for Ingersoll Rand and a Patent Attorney at the law firm Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt. James earned a J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Additionally, they have been the Director of the Max Lebrevelec Foundation since 2008, supporting families affected by organ transplants and rare blood diseases.
