Jim Windon

Jim Windon is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in engineering and technology management across various industries. Currently serving as the Global Director of Engineering and Technology at Trane Technologies since September 2019, Jim has previously held key positions such as Director of Engineering at JR Automation and Global IT Director at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors. At Johnson Controls, Jim held dual roles, including Director of Material Master and PLM Integrations and Director of Product Launch and Engineering Systems, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise process development and the management of over 70 applications related to product launch methodologies. Jim's career began with managerial roles at SDRC, Siemens UGS PLM Software, and UGS, demonstrating a solid foundation in engineering and technology. Jim earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Michigan State University.
