Kalpana -

Kalpana is a Senior Engineer specializing in 1D Modelling and Simulation at Trane Technologies, where they have been contributing since 2025. Their research focuses on desiccant cooling, HVAC systems, and thermochemical energy storage, highlighting energy-efficient technologies. Previously, Kalpana served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and held positions as a Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Kalpana holds a PhD in Thermal Engineering from IIT Roorkee and a Master of Technology in Thermal Engineering from G. B. Pant University. They are a co-inventor of a patented solar-assisted liquid desiccant comfort system and have published numerous articles in prestigious international journals.
