Kumar Paul

Kumar Paul is currently the Vice President of Tax at Trane Technologies, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of International Taxation at Ingersoll Rand from 2011 to 2020 and were a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP between 2006 and 2011. Kumar's earlier career includes significant positions such as International Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 2001 to 2006, Senior State Counsel at the Attorney General's Department of Sri Lanka from 1988 to 1995, and Director General at the Securities & Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka from 1997 to 2000. Educationally, they earned an LLM in Law from Harvard Law School in 2001 and studied at Sri Lanka Law College from 1981 to 1984.
