Masao Akei

Masao Akei is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in compressor technology. Currently serving as a Senior Compressor Technology Engineer at Trane Technologies since January 2022, Masao previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Carrier Corporation from May 2012 to February 2022. Prior to that, Masao was a Senior Lead Engineer at Emerson Climate Technologies for over a decade, from August 1999 to April 2012, and began the career as a Project Engineer at Calsonic Kansei Corporation from April 1988 to November 1998. Masao's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, obtained between 1992 and 1995, and a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Tokushima, earned from 1984 to 1988.
