Matt Cambio

Matt Cambio is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the compressor design industry, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Engineer at Trane Technologies since April 2021, where responsibilities include managing the Technology and Systems Evaluation group and overseeing advanced compressor design and system integration. Prior to this role, Matt Cambio worked at Trane for nearly three decades, holding positions such as Engineering Manager, where management of the Positive Displacement Compressor group involved involute and rotor design, as well as compressor performance delivery. Earlier experience includes development of scroll, screw, and centrifugal compressors as a Compressor Development Engineer, with a focus on delivering compressor performance. Matt Cambio holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
