Michael Walker

Michael Walker is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in state income tax management and leadership. Currently serving as a Leader at Trane Technologies since June 2023, Michael previously held the position of State Tax Director at Merck from July 2022 to June 2023. Michael's extensive career includes significant roles at Trane Technologies as Assistant Director of State Income Tax, Ingersoll Rand as Manager of State Income Taxes, and Tyco International where various titles included Director of State Income Taxes. Earlier experience includes a managerial role in State Taxes at Deloitte. Additionally, Michael holds a Master of Science in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from the University at Albany.
