N. Tyrone Ellis

N. Tyrone Ellis is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in global sustainability and operational excellence within the HVAC and consumer products sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Trane Supply at Trane Technologies since 2020, Ellis is responsible for leading diverse technical teams in Life Cycle Management strategies. Prior roles include Aftermarket Engineering Leader for Americas at Trane Technologies and Enterprise Director of Global Engineering Excellence at both Trane Technologies and Ingersoll Rand. Ellis has also held significant positions at Ingersoll Rand, Apex Tool Group, Bose Corporation, and Robert Bosch, demonstrating a consistent focus on global quality assurance, engineering leadership, and continuous improvement across various business units. Ellis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and an Executive Master in Business Management from Tulane University.
