Technical Lead - Product Engineering at Trane Technologies

Reuben Abraham has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering roles. Reuben started their career at Rinac India Ltd, where they worked as a Refrigeration Design Engineer, specializing in industrial and transport refrigeration projects. During this time, they designed and executed complex ammonia refrigeration projects, implemented high capacity compressors, and developed innovative cooling methods for different applications.

Later, they joined Cornelius Asia Pacific - A Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway Company, where they held two positions. As a Design Engineer in Innovation, Refrigeration, and Thermal Engineering, they were part of the global innovation team, contributing to cross-domain innovation projects. Reuben conducted experiments to improve chiller performances and published a white paper on refrigeration parameters and performance. Reuben also played a crucial role in charge balancing a water cooler launched under Pepsico.

In their subsequent role as a Senior Design Engineer, they continued to work on electro-mechanical systems and experimented with chillers. Their work involved testing against industry standards and obtaining marketing trademark authorization from beverage giants like Pepsi and Coke.

Moving on, Reuben worked at HCL Technologies as a Technical Lead, where they successfully developed solutions to reduce emissions from convection ovens. Their efforts resulted in significant reductions in smoke for both gas and electric ovens.

Currently, Reuben is employed at Trane Technologies as a Technical Lead in Product Engineering, demonstrating their expertise in leading technical teams and contributing to product development.

Throughout their career, Reuben has showcased strong problem-solving skills, a focus on innovation, and a dedication to improving performance and efficiency in various engineering projects.

Reuben Abraham completed their high school education from Baldwin Boys High School between 1995 and 2006, with a focus on science. Reuben then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2008 to 2012.
